Hey, I'm Shaun, a full-stack engineer and tech lead based in Perth. About ten years building apps and websites, from the bits people touch through to the APIs, data, and infrastructure underneath. These days I run my own thing, Tech Hero, shipping products start to finish.
I still care about the details that make software feel effortless: the animation that lands right, the button that's already where your thumb expects it. I also care about the less glamorous stuff: solid systems, clean architecture, and keeping cloud bills under control. I've led teams on big projects and I still write the code myself, AI tools and agents included. When I'm not building, I'm usually eating well, seeing mates, or sinking hours into a good game.
